About Us

Karno builds incredible adventures for you to play in the real world. We use artificial intelligence, augmented reality and stories to create immersive and transformative experiences. We aim to change the world for the better, one play at a time.

Our current focus is the transformation of the relationship between humans and nature. To achieve this, we are building a range of data products for the green economy. We’re use gamified citizen science and AI to create scientifically accurate synthetic ecologies. These power our data platform Claide, providing data streams for a range of sustainability objectives.

At the core of this mission is our new game Loupe, a location based mobile app that uses artificial intelligence to enable players to collect species from the world to re-wild their neighbourhood.  As they do this, they help us build our model of the living world.
